Celebrate National Garden Day!

Celebrate National Garden Day!

For over 30 years, our family has been doing what we love most - helping Newfoundlanders and Labradoreans discover the many health & well- being, economic, and environmental benefits gardening brings to our lives (there is a reason why our Canadian heritage is so rich in Horticulture, after all!).

This Saturday (June 18) is National Gardening Day, and to celebrate, we have many activities and events at our Garden Centres for you to enjoy. At both of our Dunville and Kelligrews locations, drop in to be entered to win trees, shrubs, baskets, gift cards, and much more! If you're unable to make it to one of our Garden Centres, you can also participate online for a chance to win a $100.00 gift card by submitting photos of your garden to us via our website OR by sharing your photos directly on our featured Facebook post. Our online giveaway will be available until our July 30, 2022 draw date.

To continue with our focus on beeing friendly this year, we have also invited local author, Catherine Dempsey, to join us between 2:00 - 4:00 pm at our Kelligrews location for a book reading of her children's book titled Daphne's Bees. A portion of this event will be shared live on our Facebook page, and we encourage those attending in-person to tune in as you browse our store (and, perhaps, purchase a bee and butterfly friendly plant for your garden!).

And, it doesn't stop there! All season long we will be continuing to celebrate Year of the Garden 2022. So, whether you are an expert green thumb or just beginning to explore the many benefits of gardening, connect with a member of our team - we would be so happy to help you along your gardening journey!
